The version of Super Mario 64 is the Shindō version released only in Japan in July 1997, which added bug fixes and gameplay alterations. Sunshine and Galaxy look lovely in HD, I'd even go so far and claim Galaxy in HD looks better than Odyssey which is crazy.It's closer to something a couple fans might have done on a PC emulator than a proper celebration of Mario's 35th.
