Description

There are currently 41,415 listed endangered species, and over 16,000 of them are threatened with extinction. I listened so I didn't see the dyslexia friendly version of the book but I thought this was brilliant, something that had never occurred to me. It examines different ecosystems, the major threats to their inhabitants and steps being taken towards conservation.

Vividly presented through full-colour maps and graphics, this fully revised and updated atlas profiles species lost, threatened and surviving today. Megan McCubbin reveals the stories of the scientists, rangers and conservationists who are fighting to save these extraordinary creatures from extinction. I thought the book is well made its lovely, its nicely presented with further details on the subject and with the added Megan's experiences etc. An Atlas of Endangered Species is a masterpiece of scientific communication - Dr Ruth Tingay, Co-Director, Wild Justice You may also be interested in. Not only is Atlas of Endangered Species a fascinating, immersive exploration of iconic and overlooked species, but most importantly it's a powerful, passionate plea for a wilder future alongside nature.
